The Car

Originally a 1971 V12 E-type, the car has since been heavily modified. There is some of the original car left (honest !). Many of the original parts have been replaced with their racing spec equivalents. The car makes full use of aerodynamics (How could it not with that huge rear wing !). One major difference is that the rear brakes discs are outboard for better cooling.

The car is driven by Malcolm Hamilton, a northern type with a penchant for playing the eukelele late at night. He is also a senior instructor at the Oulton Park racing school.

Preparation is carried out by Rob Beere Racing Services, whose team have spent many a long day (and night) bending, tweaking and fixing, as well as cooking fantastic bacon sandwiches which are not complete without garlic and chili sauce.
